The Legacy Group is delighted to welcome new agent Rique Castillo to the team! Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, Rique and his family moved to Columbia in 2009. They love calling South Carolina “home,” and one conversation is enough to sense his infectious enthusiasm for helping families every step of the way through the homebuying process.
Rique is passionate about his Christian faith and has been a leader in Forge Ministries, a gospel-centered missions organization, for years. He has traveled around the world speaking to people of all nationalities and backgrounds. Rique is required to raise support for his missions with Forge, so when some close friends recommended he look into real estate as the means for his ministry, he decided to give it a shot. In doing so, he discovered a newfound joy. It became a fresh platform to share the neighborly love and care that overflows from his faith.
Rique’s first interaction with The Legacy Group was during a property transaction involving our very own Lindsey Moore. In this situation, one of the clients was in a particularly difficult spot, but Lindsey’s conduct caught Rique’s attention. He recalls, “I was overwhelmed with Lindsey’s generosity and transparency with both clients during the whole process. She handled the messiness of the situation so well.” In learning more about The Legacy Group, Rique was attracted to our commitment to faith and family. So when asked to consider coming on board as an agent, it seemed only natural to accept.
