WildeWood encompasses about 1600 acres in Northeast Columbia bordered by award winning schools, prominent local churches, and Sesquicentennial State Park. The first home in the area was built in 1967 and new custom homes are still being built here today. At the center of the community is a beautiful 160-acre golf course designed by Russell Breeden. The club also has impressive tennis facilities and a competition sized pool. Social events for both young and old are offered throughout the year.
Spring Valley does its name justice each year with a symphony of blooming azaleas, camellias, dogwoods and daffodils sprinkled among its winding roads and lakes. From patio courtyard homes to estate sized manors, there is something for everyone here. Golf, aquatics, and tennis opportunities also abound at the Spring Valley Country Club which boasts a 25,000 square foot facility for hosting business and social events.
Award-winning schools make this area unique. In 2022, Spring Valley High School (public) was named a Top 20 Magnet School of Excellence and Cardinal Newman High School (private) regularly has individual students recognized for academic and artistic excellence. Recently, one recent received an award for the highest local score in the U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad.
