Is there anything better than a bowl of fresh strawberries on a warm day? This delicious, ruby-red treat is hard to beat!

South Carolinians love their strawberries, using them in a number of traditional recipes including strawberry shortcake, strawberry pretzel salad, strawberry lemonade, cobblers, and more. If your mouth is watering for a bite, make plans to visit Cottle Farms in Hopkins as soon as possible!

Cottle Farms is a family-owned and operated farm producing rows and rows of strawberries for you to pick. Their roots in this business grow deep and rich, having been established over 50 years ago. They are a family supporting families, giving those with children an enriching opportunity to learn about strawberry cultivation, enjoy the beautiful outdoors, and taste its sweetness — literally! Families are welcome to come and fill up a bucket of strawberries anytime during hours of operation, and pickers who choose to sample as they go are welcome! Fresh strawberries are, after all, pretty irresistible.

For parents with young children who may tucker out quickly, Cottle Farms offers a “U pick” option and a “We Pick” option. So if you need to grab some strawberries and run to make it to nap time, they have pint, quart, and gallon-sized containers of strawberries available for purchase.

For a simple but memorable morning or afternoon out, visit Cottle Farms located just off of Garners Ferry Road! Then head home and cool off with a glass of homemade strawberry lemonade made with your freshly picked strawberries.
