Swamp Rabbit Café & Grocery

Downtown Greenville has plenty to offer when it comes to restaurants, cafes and grocery options. One of my favorite food markets in Greenville is Swamp Rabbit Café & Grocery. This well-known gem offers locally grown food and food produced by local artisans in their grocery store as well as café and bakery.

I love seeing all kinds of farms represented in the store from dairy to produce. The owners of the market, Jacqueline Oliver and Mary Walsh, opened in 2011 after they saw a tremendous need in the community for a neighborhood store that could be safely accessed by foot, bike or car and also offered farmer’s market quality foods every day. As the market became more and more successful, the owners continued to add to the property including a picnic/outdoor dining area that runs along the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
