One of my favorite places to visit while in Laurens, South Carolina is Verdin’s Too, an open-air garden market with loads of plant varieties for both indoor and outdoor spaces. This beautiful market is conveniently located on the town square. The Verdin family started Verdin’s, a farm and garden store, in 1992 and then expanded to Verdin’s Too on the square a few years ago. Verdin’s Too brings out everyone’s desire for a green thumb. They offer an incredible variety of plants in a fun-to-browse outdoor display.

The family-owned market sells trees, shrubs, flowers, vegetables, fruiting trees, plants and all the necessary garden accessories. The store offers vegetable starts for both spring and fall gardens, with lots of organic options. Orchard tree varieties of all kinds are available including apple, pear, plum, peach, persimmon, pomegranate and nectarine. Blackberry, raspberry or blueberry bushes and other native shrubs can help adorn the garden. This shop is well worth a visit for those wanting to beautify their yard or garden.
